Social media can be a powerful tool to help spread your message and a great way to ask your friends and families to support your ride and fundraising goals.
Let your network know you are participating, update them on your fundraising efforts, share photos and videos of your journey and more! Below are some tips to ensure every post helps you cross the finish line!

Share Often
Keep your friends and family up-to-date on your fundraising progress on your social media platforms. We recommend sharing an update on your ride once a week!

Tell Your Story
Tell your friends and family why you are participating, whether you have a connection to the cause or if you just love to ride and make a difference.

Use Visuals
If you’ve participated in the past, share photos from previous years. If you’re new to the ride, consider grabbing a photo or two while you train. Your donors want to see you in action!

Engage!
Did someone comment? Did they ask a question? Make sure to stay on top of your social media engagement and answer any questions asked. Don’t know the answer? Send us a message or tag us on your post and we would be happy to answer with more information!

Tag us!
Make sure to tag the Baycrest Foundation and use the hashtag #Barrie2Baycrest when you post!
On Facebook, tag @BaycrestFoundation
On Instagram, tag @Baycrest
On Twitter, tag @SupportBaycrest
