SOCIAL TOOLS

Social media can be a powerful tool to help spread your message and a great way to ask your friends and families to support your ride and fundraising goals.

Let your network know you are participating, update them on your fundraising efforts, share photos and videos of your journey and more! Below are some tips to ensure every post helps you cross the finish line!

Use Visuals

If you’ve participated in the past, share photos from previous years. If you’re new to the ride, consider grabbing a photo or two while you train. Your donors want to see you in action!

I have signed up to ride in #Barrie2Baycrest 2021! This coming September, I will be hitting the road to support the @BaycrestFoundation and raise funds for the new Kimel Family Centre for Brain Health and Wellness.

This centre will play a pivotal role in the fight to defeat and delay dementia in older adults, with scientific research and evidence based interventions.

Did you know that by delaying the onset of dementia by five years, we can reduce its prevalence by 30 per cent? Delaying the onset by 10 years would virtually eradicate dementia.
